Wednesday Night Service
10:00am - 11:50am
On the first Sunday of each month, children ages 6 and up join the adults in the sanctuary for worship and the message. In this way, kids are able to see their parents worship together and study the Bible. They also get to learn about sanctuary etiquette. But most of all, the family gets to be together through the church service. It can get a little messy sometimes, but it is well worth it for parents and kids to spend church time together. The children are given a clipboard, pencil and study sheet with questions to keep them engaged in the message.
2:00pm - 3:00pm
On the first Sunday of the month, we take a church service complete with worship music and teaching to the precious people at Lakeview Estates on Valleydale Road. Everyone is welcome and the residents love the company of children. Meet at the church at 1:30pm to help load out the equipment and then caravan over or meet us at Lakeview Estates at 2pm.
Every year, Calvary Chapel Birmingham have teamed up with Samaritan’s Purse to bless children around the world with the Gospel and gifts. Each month we suggest an item to donate and then in December we have a packing party and take the boxes to the processing center in Atlanta. If you would like to participate, pick up a list of monthly suggested items in the sanctuary and each month place your donation in the box marked OCC in the front of the Sanctuary.
If you would like to go with us to the Processing Center, please see the details below:
Every month on the second Sunday of the month we share a meal together following the morning service. As you are able, bring something you would like to share with everyone. That could be a dessert, a casserole, chips or anything else you think would be a blessing to everyone. If you are unable to bring something, please join us and share your fellowship.
We take communion together the second Sunday of every month.
10:00am - 11:00am
Show and Tell the World is our monthly outreach and helps ministry. On this day we gather together to go out and share the love of Christ either going door to door talking about Jesus or by gathering to help our family and neighbors. That may mean yardwork, handiwork around the house, organization, or just hanging out and being a friend. If you know of someone we could bless by lending a helping hand, please let Todd Powell know or email moc.m1511361345ahgni1511361345mriby1511361345ravla1511361345c@eci1511361345ffo1511361345.
Join us Sunday morning, December 24th for a special Christmas service featuring worship and a special Christmas message.
